If driving down the palm-lined road toward the beautifully restored Hacienda doesn’t make you want to join the Scribe Viticultural Society, then their pickup parties surely will. Four times a year, they welcome their members to the property for the day. A local restaurant or chef provides lunch, music is played on the lawn, and everyone goes home with a new allotment of wine. Pickup parties at Scribe are the quintessential wine country experience and we tailor our offerings to the season. In summer, we outfit the property with picnic lounges, lawn games, and shade structures. When the air turns crisp, we bring lounge tents and fireside throws. No matter the temperature, you’ll always find a happy hillside full of city escapees sipping wine, kids and dogs running free, and our team picking up a case or two of Pet Nat.
As long time SVS members, we look forward to the pickup parties every quarter. We run into friends each time and meet new people. Even on a chilly fall day it’s worth the drive to Sonoma for amazing food, wine and company.
