During the early days of the pandemic, the bride and groom and a few close friends decided to pod up at the Bride’s family cattle ranch in Colorado. After many months there together, they knew it would be the perfect place to gather their wider group of friends and family to officially begin their life together.
We worked with the ranch manager to design a blank event space in a lower pasture on the vast property. A new road was cleared and the cattle were moved to make way for our install. The bride and groom wanted the entirety of the weekend to happen in this pasture but we designed two unique spaces to host the Friday activities and rehearsal and Saturday wedding.
Guests were brought in by open air Jeeps and were welcomed into a general store and lobby outfitted with family photos, snacks, and gorgeous antiques curated by the Bride’s mother who is an interior designer. We set up two lounge and dining pavilions to be used all weekend long with games, crafts, and round the clock music. Saturday guests were invited to the far side of the pasture for the ceremony centered on Sneffels Mountain and then dined and danced in a separate reception tent.
